This small group VIP afternoon tour offers access to the Colosseum’s arena floor, where gladiators once fought, and the cheers of the crowd, the clamour of battle, and the roar of exotic beasts once filled the amphitheater and the city beyond.

Your tour begins as the Colosseum and surrounding streets become less crowded, an optimal time to savor the grandeur of Rome’s most iconic monument. With one of our expert guides, you’ll not only gain access to the arena floor and ground level but also the mezzanine section, which boasts panoramic views of the Colosseum’s interior—a perfect place for an unforgettable photo opportunity.

Beyond the Colosseum, your guide will take you through the Roman Forum, once the political, commercial, and spiritual core of our ancient city. From the Senate House to the Temple of Julius Caesar, from the House of the Vestal Virgins to the Arch of Titus, every step on this journey brings Rome’s ancient city center back to life.

Ascend Palatine Hill where Rome’s emperors once lived. Take a stroll in the shade of the Farnese Gardens’ majestic umbrella pines, and wander amongst the imposing ruins of imperial palaces. The views from Palatine Hill are as glittering as the golden light of a Roman afternoon.
