With exclusive access to the underground chambers, tunnels, and cages, this VIP experience reveals the engineering marvel and dramatic pageantry that brought gladiatorial games to life.

Your journey begins below the Arena, where your expert guide will lead you through the shadowed passageways once used to move wild animals and prepare fighters for battle. You’ll see holding cells, trapdoor systems, and even a replica of the original lift that would send lions roaring into the arena above. Then, rise to the Arena Floor itself and stand where gladiators once fought for glory, surrounded by echoes of the crowd.

Climb to the upper tier for a spectator’s view of the amphitheater, taking in the scale and ingenuity of one of the ancient world’s greatest achievements. But the story doesn’t end there. You’ll continue to the Roman Forum, where history was shaped in marble and stone. Walk the roads once trodden by emperors and citizens alike, see the Temple of Julius Caesar, and stand before the House of the Vestal Virgins. Then ascend to the Palatine Hill, where Rome was born and its emperors built their palaces. Please check-in at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. Tours will depart promptly at the scheduled time, and no refunds will be given for late arrivals or missed tours.

Proof of identification may be required, so please bring a valid form of photo ID for each guest.

Tours will proceed in all weather conditions, unless the site is closed by authorities for safety reasons. It is highly recommended to bring bottled water, sunscreen, hat, and umbrella.

There will be a security check upon entering the Colosseum. Any weapons, sharp objects, glass or aerosol containers will be confiscated, so please do not bring these items to the tour.

All entry time groups are 25 people, your small group may be entering with others, but you will remain with your guide.
