Meet James, our fearless leader and in-house historian. James studied classics at Leeds University in England and has been a tour guide in Rome for more than 15 years. James has a passion for ancient history, particularly the late Roman Republic. If the discovery of Roman stories, myths, and legends piques your interest, James is your best source of information. Born and raised in Rome, James maintains a healthy passion for the Eternal City and its vast history.
Mircea
Expert Tour Guide
Meet Mircea, one of Rome's premier, professional tour guides. Mircea has over 15 years of expertise in Ancient Roman History. He holds a law degree from Nicolae Titulescu Law University in Romania and comes from a military family—if you find yourself on a tour with Mircea, do NOT miss the opportunity to learn about anything and everything battle oriented. A multilingual Romanian, Mircea speaks impeccable English and will give you the tour of a lifetime. The only thing he loves more than giving tours and talking about the Roman Legions is his adorable dog, Barney.
Angela
COO/CFO / Tour Guide
Meet Angela, Roman Vacations' COO/CFO and professional tour guide. Angela holds a degree in Fine Arts from Syracuse University with a concentration in Surface Pattern Design and Art History. She was born and raised in New York, but moved to Rome to immerse herself in the city's vast and varied art culture. From the organization of our team's daily lives to the organization of your daily tours, Angela is the chief facilitator of your Roman Vacation experience.
