This tour begins just outside the Vatican Museums entrance, where you will meet your expert, local guide. Once inside, your guide will usher you through myriad rooms filled with priceless art and architecture. Rare marble statues and sarcophagi. Stunning mosaics. The illusionistic trompe l'oeil of the Vatican Museums’ ceilings and walls—every corner of these Vatican chambers reveals yet another timeless treasure. 


Beyond these chambers of resplendences, your guide will lead you through the Gallery of the Candelabra, the Gallery of Maps, and the Hall of Tapestries.


Your journey continues through Rafael’s rooms and onward to the Sistine Chapel. Here, you will have the opportunity to admire one of Michelangelo’s most recognizable masterpieces, The Creation of Adam.

Know Before You Go

Please check-in at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. Tours will depart promptly at the scheduled time, and no refunds will be given for late arrivals or missed tours.


Proof of identification may be required, so please bring a valid form of photo ID for each guest.


Tours will proceed in all weather conditions. It is highly recommended to bring bottled water, sunscreen, a hat, and an umbrella.


There will be a security check upon entering the Vatican. Any weapons, sharp objects, glass or aerosol containers will be confiscated, so please do not bring these items to the tour.
