Your guided tour of La Limonia begins with an introduction to the cultivation techniques used to grow the Massa lemon, or “Ovale di Sorrento”, which is produced exclusively in the Sorrentine Peninsula. During this brief, introductory stroll, your guide will share with you the rich history of Sorrento’s lemon trade.
Next, your guide will entertain you with a limoncello demonstration, revealing to you the unique characteristics that give the Massa lemon its unmistakable aroma. Here, your guide will also share with you a tried-and-true limoncello recipe that has been around for generations.
