This private tour begins near Trajan’s Column, where you’ll meet your expert, local guide. Your journey continues to the Vittoriano–Rome’s largest and most controversial monument. From here, you’ll wander past the edges of the Jewish Ghetto, past the ancient theater of Crypta Balbi, and arrive at the ruins of Largo di Torre Argentina, where Julius Caesar met his legendary demise. 

 

Down winding back streets and cobbled alleyways your guide will bring you to Piazza Navona. From its construction in the 1st century BCE as an athletics stadium, to its transformation into the baroque, 17th-century square you see today, Piazza Navona has earned a reputation as the most beautiful piazza in Rome. 


After a brief promenade past 16th-century palaces and awe-inspiring churches, you will arrive at the Pantheon. Completed circa 125CE by Emperor Hadrian, this Christian basilica was once a temple dedicated to all pagan gods.

 

Through bustling streets, charming cafes, and artisanal gelaterias*, your guide will lead you to the sparkling waters of Trevi Fountain—widely regarded as the most famous fountain in the world. According to legend, to throw a coin in Trevi Fountain ensures your return to the Eternal City.   


Beyond Trevi Fountain, past the ruins of the Acqua Vergine and the house of Gian Lorenzo Bernini, your journey will end at Piazza di Spagna, home to the world-famous Spanish Steps—a perfect place for a photo opportunity.

Please check-in at the meeting point 10 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. Tours cannot be delayed for late arrivals, and no refunds will be given for late arrivals or missed tours.


Tours will proceed in all weather conditions. It is highly recommended to bring bottled water, sunscreen, a hat, and an umbrella.


Wear comfortable walking shoes, be sure to dress warmly in colder temperatures, and bring a cover for bare shoulders and knees inside any churches.
