Discover Ancient Rome like never before on our most in-depth VIP tour, led by a passionate, expert guide and designed for curious travelers who want to see more—and understand more. With group sizes kept small and entry times pre-arranged, this premier experience allows you to explore the Colosseum Arena Floor, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill without the rush.

Begin with a rare view of the Ludus Magnus, the gladiator training school once connected to the Colosseum. From there, enter the monument itself and ascend to the middle tier for a panoramic look across the arena, before walking through the Triumphal Gate—just like the gladiators did. Stand on the arena floor, peer down into the underground tunnels, and picture the roar of the crowd and the seat where the Emperor once sat.

Next, head up to Palatine Hill, where the emperors lived in lavish palaces. Explore the Stadium of Domitian, the Domus Augustana, and even rooms with floor heating and ancient fountains. From the heights of the Farnese Gardens, enjoy sweeping views of the Roman Forum before continuing into the newly reopened Palace of Tiberius, an extraordinary section few tourists get to see.

Descend the Ramp of Domitian into the heart of the Forum, where your guide will bring to life the stories of the Vestal Virgins, the fall of the Republic, and the legacy of Julius Caesar. But the experience doesn’t end there.

Venture beyond the standard route to explore the Forum of Julius Caesar, the vast Forum of Trajan, and newly excavated areas along the Via dei Fori Imperiali, all while staying at modern street level for a unique perspective.

The tour concludes at the edge of Monti, one of Rome’s most beloved local neighborhoods. Here, your guide will say farewell and offer recommendations for lunch, a refreshing gelato, or a relaxing aperitivo—so you can end your journey through Ancient Rome like a true Roman.
